Explore Australia—Study, Work, Travel!
A truly beautiful country, Australia has a high standard of living and an enviable lifestyle. Australians are very welcoming to tourists, and are friendly and enjoy a wonderful work-life balance. In the past decade, the Australian economy has boomed and the country offers very favourable work opportunities, with wages that are on par with the best in the world. The country is blessed with some of the most beautiful scenic landscapes and nature’s bounty, and travellers can make the most of the golden beaches, lush rainforests, sun-kissed deserts and teeming cities. For all these reasons, Australia is among the most popular tourist destinations worldwide.
Backpacking
The Australian Government offers a Work & Travel visa, that offers young people the opportunity to support themselves by working while they travel across the country. You can undertake jobs on farms, in restaurants and fast food outlets, in retail stores and so on in order to make money for your travel. This is a very appealing option for students who are taking a gap year from their studies and wish to gain a different perspective on life. Most students who use this visa like to travel alone and make friends on the way. They can explore the countryside by backpacking and trekking, and can camp, or stay in youth hostels wherever they are available.
Students can also use this visa to undertake (unpaid) internships, and this is a great way to gain valuable work experience in their chosen profession. The Work and Travel visa has an age restriction for applications (only people between 18 and 31 can apply), and is also limited in time duration.
Study in Australia
As any avid traveller will agree, Australia ranks high among the list of preferred travel destinations in the world. If you are looking to study in Australia, then you can get the best of both worlds; a world class education in one of the leading universities in the world, as well as the ability to live and travel in a lovely country!
Australian educational institutions are among the finest in the world, as they offer a wide variety of learning programs that enable students to gain critical thinking and leadership abilities and get hands-on practical exposure to their field of study. Many students opt to study in Australia because of the high quality of education and the excellent research facilities and infrastructure. Study programs range from short term professional courses to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees.
Students who are enrolled at these universities can take advantage of the study breaks and vacation time to travel and explore the surrounding areas.
Broaden your horizons!
Young people must do all they can to broaden their horizons, and visiting Australia should definitely be at the top of your bucket list. By studying, working and travelling in this beautiful country you will have many life-changing experiences and can make memories that will last a lifetime. Get started on your Australian adventure soon- it may be the best decision of your life!
