Concerned about your admission status during coronavirus pandemic? Here’s everything that you need to know!
At this time of global uncertainty, you as a candidate may be nervously wondering whether your application to university will be affected.
Most of English language proficiency testing centers are currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. The online form of the tests may be the only option available to International students for the time being.
The authorities took appropriate steps to address this situation. The online form of the tests listed in the Table to Rule 18 will be used as evidence of English language proficiency for international students enrolling in New Zealand and offshore until the end of 2020.
What will be the validity of English language proficiency test results
There is no concern for worry in case you are an international student who might have had to delay starting your CAP studies in New Zealand as a result of the COVID-19 travel restrictions. If you have been made an offer of a place and your English language proficiency result was valid at the time of the offer, you don’t need to undertake another proficiency test if your result expires before the deferred start date, provided the deferred enrolment is within twelve months.
The rare and unpredictable crisis of Covid-19 has caused major disruptions in the events and admission process of colleges across New Zealand. It is essential to keep in mind that Coronavirus has impacted the lives of almost every person across the globe. The world is coming together to face a threat the force of which is yet unseen. As an international student seeking admission in New Zealand, it is important that you stay calm and keep yourself updated with any subsequent developments and opt for smart methods to further your cause.
