New Delhi — July 2025: Indian passport holders can now visit 59 countries without applying for a visa in advance, according to the latest Henley Passport Index (July 2025). This development has boosted India’s ranking from 85th to 77th globally.

The updated list covers destinations offering visa-free entry, visa-on-arrival (VoA), and Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), making international travel more convenient for Indian citizens by cutting down on processing time and paperwork.

However, travelers are advised to check individual country entry rules before booking trips, as permitted stay durations and documentation requirements may vary. It is recommended that passengers consult official government or embassy websites to confirm the latest visa policies prior to departure.
