ANMAC online system: streamlined applications from 2018

January 14, 2018

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC), the skills assessing authority for nurses and midwives wishing to migrate under the Australian Government General Skilled Migration Programs , has announced that their Skilled Migration Services team is introducing an online application system from 15 January 2018. This new online application system will be introduced over the Christmas shutdown period from Friday, 22 December until Monday, 8 January 2018.

In preparation for the introduction of the online application system, ANMAC will not be accepting migration skills assessments from 12pm on Friday, 15 December 2017. All the applications submitted up until 12pm on Friday, 15 December 2017 will still remain paper based, and candidates will need to provide their correctly certified documents by mail. Starting at 9am on Monday, 15 January 2018, candidates can apply for an online migration skills assessment and the paper based applications will not be available.

The online application system is accessed on the ANMAC website, and requires each applicant to create a login to access the online application forms and upload supporting documents. ANMAC will be introducing a new assessment pathway on 15 January 2018. The online application system has enabled ANMAC to reduce migration skills assessments fees. The reduction in fees is effective from Monday, 15 January 2018.

Further information about ANMAC’s online application and new assessment pathway will be available on their website.
